A history that dates back to 1955 and a reputation that’s second to none.

Studwelders Limited was originally founded in 1955. In 1987 the directors decided to further expand its already established welding expertise into associated product areas. Today the company is firmly established within the construction industry as one of the market leaders in the design, installation and studwelding of steel floor decking systems.

In 2004 the directors identified an opportunity for Composite floor decking in New Zealand and in 2005 Composite Floor Decks Limited was formed to service the New Zealand market.

Composite Floor Decks Limited has been appointed principal distributor for both Corus and Dimond steel floor decking ranges, which include Comflor 60, Comflor 80, Hibond and the highly innovative Comflor 210, samples of which are shown within this website.

Composite Floor Decks Limited realises the importance of technical expertise and speed of communication within today’s fast track construction industry.

Therefore its design and draughting department, based in East Tamaki, is supported by a state of the art computer system.

The company’s self sufficient installation and welding teams install throughout New Zealand’s North Island and our sister company, Composite Floor Decks S.I., services New Zealand’s South Island.

Throughout its period of growth Studwelders Limited has maintained development of its own welding technology and products including the sole UK and New Zealand distribution of Koster welding products.

The target for the success of Composite Floor Decks Limited has been summarised by the directors in the statement “Only through first class quality and service can we become the customers first choice.”
